How to use EcoTrowel

First, clean the surface with compressed air or a vacuum.

Use a gentle kneading motion to mix both parts together for approximately 2-3 minutes until consistency is achieved in color and texture throughout the batch.

Application Instructions

Once the mix has been mixed, you can begin to apply EcoPoxy Ecotrowel by using a trowel or putty blade.

Spread Rate:

From a fluffy edge all the way to a 1.3-cm (0.5-inch high) peak

Working temperature:

The temperature of the bath should range between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius (60 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit).

*Note:

Additional work is required after 24 hours. To prepare for bonding you can lightly sand the entire surface using a 120-grit paper. You should remove all sanding dust and wash the entire surface using denatured or isopropyl alcohol to get rid of any pollutants.

Avoid eye contact and direct skin contact. Wash your eyes thoroughly with water and consult a doctor if they come into direct contact. In the case of skin contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not consume it yourself, or encourage vomiting.

Drying time

Cure time 48 hours @ 21degC/70degF and 50% RH using spread rate 2.5m2/L (1100sf/gal).
Set to Touch: 6-8 hour
Recoat Time: Minimum 6-8 Hours
Foot Traffic: 24 hours

The material's temperature, humidity, or thickness will determine the results.

Surface

EcoPoxy EcoTrowel can also be used on any exterior or interior concrete, wood and metal surfaces.

It can be used to cover old VCT tiles, linoleum, blacktop driveways, and other flooring substrates with proper primer.

EcoPoxy EcoTrowel a water-based product is safe to use indoors provided there is proper ventilation.

Storage and Shelf Life

Place in cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. Keep out of direct sunlight. When stored properly, product will last for one year.
